For 2 years every morning I saw Bud. Seeing Bud in the morning was the very best way to start my day. We always chatted together and I looked forward to my everyday walk to work. Bud was one of our elementary school crossing guards. Everyday our students were greeted warmly and arrived safely to school thanks to Kyle Bud Warren. Bud was an angel and now he is in heaven.

On behalf of Chief Raymond D. Schultz and the Albuquerque Police Department family, we express our deepest condolences.

As members of the Albuquerque Police Department family, we serve together, we laugh together and we cry together.

Today, we stand with you and pray you will find comfort in your faith in God as “he leads you beside still waters and restores your soul.” (Psalm 23:2, 3)

Thank you Mr. Bud Warren for your faithful service to our Department and community.

Thanks for your service to our country.
“Day is Done” are the first words of "Taps"
Know you have ended your days
with a job “well done”
Know too, I lower my mental flag to half staff
in your memory this day.
Know also that a free and grateful nation says,
“Rest in Peace serviceman”
Know ‘All is well, safely rest, God is nigh’
