I have beautiful memories of Gail when we were just small girls, playing up Point Lick and of going to church together. I also went to school with Gail. My fondest memory of Gail, although a sad time for us both - We were at our aunt's funeral - an aunt we both shared,Murl Mullins. As I entered the church I immediately looked for a kind face and there was Gail holding out her arms to me. I had not seen her in years at that time but it was just as if we were children again. I will never forget her loving way, her friendliness, her kindness and the way she always made me feel right at home - no matter what the situation. We will always miss Gail as she was loved so very much.

Heaven wanted this Angel back.

There are no words as memory after memory come rushing to my mind. I love you all and miss you. I know that Gail will be sorely missed by everyone around her but she's with other family members now and that alone is the greatest comfort in a shocking time like this. I can just see your mom's face as she hugged her on her first day in heaven. Your are all in my prayers. Love forever.

Life Stories

God used Gail to bless many of us through her beautiful voice.Every time the song "HOLY GROUND" is sung in church I remember hearing Gail sing it.But I will always remember Gail hugging me one night on Barbara's porch, and her saying she loved me and someday everything would be okay. Her reaching out to comfort someone else again showed me how much God desires to love and comfort each of us,if we allow Him to use us to reach others.
Gail is in Heaven now,in the presence of our loving Father, and our Savior,Jesus Christ.Joe,my prayer is that in your grief you are comforted by Jesus, and His love for you. Please forgive me if somehow my tribute to Gail causes you more pain.

I can remember growing up listening to Gail's family tapes and trying to sing the song "Holy Ground" the way Gail did. I can hear the exact way she sung it clearly in my mind as if she was singing it right now next to me. The song impacted me at an early age and it's still one of my favorite southern gospel songs. Heaven has gained Gail and her beautiful voice. I know she's up there singing along with angels and praising the Lord.

Thank you Gail for sharing your talented voice and the inspiring song, "Holy Ground."
The song lyrics are as follows:

As I walk through the door I sensed His presence
And I knew this was a place where love abounds
For this is a temple the God we love abides here
Oh we are standing in His presence on holy ground

We are standing on holy ground
For I know that there are angels all around
Let us praise Jesus now
For we are standing in His presence on holy ground

Verse 2
In His presence there is joy beyond all measure
And at His feet sweet peace of mind can still be found
For when we have a need He is still the answer
Reach out and claim it for we are standing on holy ground

We are standing on holy ground
For I know that there are angels all around
Let us praise Jesus now
For we are standing in His presence on holy ground

Let us praise Jesus now...
For we are standing in His presence on holy ground.
